Day 4: Thurs, Jun. 15
"Delays are divine. Some of us are in delays because of our bad decisions or someone else's bad decisions. God is trying to bring a depth of character in you to prepare you to continue to move forward. The problem is, is that the devil likes delays almost as much because it can easily become a place where we get distracted instead of a place God wants to deliver us. Every day is divinely ordained and written in the book of life. Worship Him in the good and bad, when he speaks aloud, and when he doesn't. He'll never abandon you despite what all the odds and situations say around him. You are his royal warrior."
The passage above was written by Paul's daughter Alexa's boyfriend, Alec. Alec is the Worship Leader at Engedi who performed when we attended with Paul and his family.
Alec wrote this for Paul's birthday celebration, and read it to him after we ate when we were all sitting around sharing stories about Paul.
The first sentence, of course, caught my attention. It made me think that all the delays you've endured bedore this trip and launching Don't Deley might have actually been for a reason—to lead you to this point where you're embracing right now, and no longer going to be distracted from pursuing the journey of your true passions.
Delay no more.
